Boston Cheez isn't from Atlanta, but his story carries a message this city's culture scene knows well: build something of your own, and bring everyone along for the ride. Raised in Mattapan, Boston, he grew up with music woven into daily life — his grandfather was involved in the industry, and his Haitian heritage kept music and culture close at hand from the start. As he describes it, music isn't something he picked up later on; it's something he was born connected to.
That connection shows up in family first. Boston Cheez points to his Haitian roots and his family's strength as the foundation of everything he makes, shaping not just his sound but how he moves through the world.
He's entering a busy stretch. Boston Cheez is working on a distribution deal with EMPIRE and has a project on the way featuring a major hip-hop artist, details still under wraps. He's also developing music through his label, Pentagon, with Kurupt of Tha Dogg Pound — who he counts as both a collaborator and a mentor. Outside music, he created the reality series "Industry Girl," currently airing on the TRONIX Network, with a second season in the works.
Beyond the studio, Boston Cheez has built CHVSE, his own clothing line, and describes himself as an artist, fashion designer, actor, and CEO in equal measure — a multi-hyphenate approach to entertainment rather than a single lane.
Through all of it, he says the goal with his music stays simple: good energy. He wants listeners to feel uplifted, to celebrate, and to connect — music built for enjoying life rather than overthinking it. With new releases, a TV season, and expanding business ventures ahead, Boston Cheez is positioning himself as someone building across several lanes at once, with his roots never far from the center.
