Flo Milli gave Atlanta fans an early listen to her upcoming album during an invite-only event on Sept. 29 at Means Street Studios. The gathering, dubbed "Smoke Sessions with Flo Milli," was part of the Flo State Experience, presented by The Ayars Agency and sponsored by Backwoods.
DJ Roots Queen opened the night before Flo took over, playing a stretch of unreleased tracks and staying engaged with guests throughout rather than simply observing from the crowd. The songs ranged widely in tone, from the laid-back "I'm Back In That Mode" to the alternative-tinged "Still A Fan," the melodic "Im P," and sultrier cuts built for the club. An unreleased collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, "Need That," drew on a nostalgic ’90s-style bounce before shifting into a faster tempo.
Producers RiotUSA and Project4fan were credited throughout the night's beats. Speaking with Bossip, Flo Milli said working with both was "great" and marked her first time collaborating with each.
Backwoods branded the space with its Strawberry N' Crème product line, matching cocktails and décor, while Wingstop — including lemon pepper wings — kept guests fed. The low-key setup leaned more house party than industry showcase, giving attendees a preview of Flo Milli's next musical era.
