J. Moore didn't set out to become a film producer. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she found her way into the entertainment industry through one of the hardest seasons of her life: losing both of her brothers within three months of each other.
That grief reshaped how she saw the world, and instead of letting it stall her, she decided to channel it into something new. She began shooting films, then expanded into television, discovering along the way that she had a genuine passion for storytelling, building platforms for others, and bringing people together through shared narratives. What started as a way of processing loss grew into a career and, as she describes it, a purpose.
Now based in Atlanta, Moore has built a name for herself in the city's entertainment scene as a producer, entrepreneur, and creative visionary. Her biggest inspiration, she says, is her children -- having grown up without her own mother, she's driven to push herself further than she once thought possible, in part to show them what's achievable.
Her current flagship project is "Industry Girl," a reality television series she created and produces, currently streaming on the TRONIX Network. She's now preparing Season 2 while also working to expand the brand beyond the show itself, developing new film and television projects, collaborating with talent, and creating opportunities within the industry.
For Moore, the work is about more than entertainment. She wants audiences to walk away feeling inspired, empowered, and reminded that pain doesn't have to be the end of a story -- it can be the start of a new one. Through her projects, she hopes to spark conversations, give people a platform to be seen, and prove that it's never too late to build a new chapter, no matter what life has put in front of you.
