Born in London and raised in Queens, KEE.ZEE has spent years shaping a sound rooted in his Jamaican and Caribbean heritage. He credits his family and culture as his biggest inspiration, calling that background one of the most amazing experiences a person could have — and it shows in the rhythms he builds his music around.
His path into music started small: freestyling and singing over instrumentals with his best friend of more than 15 years. That informal, exploratory habit eventually pushed him to experiment across genres until he landed on the Afro-Dancehall sound he's known for today.
KEE.ZEE is also a reintroduction. He previously performed as Superlative Sain, building a following through high-energy live shows that blended Afro-influenced production with R&B, soul, funk, and hip-hop, and taking stages in Paris, London, and cities across the U.S. As he describes it, the shift to KEE.ZEE isn't a restart but a progression — the same foundation of rhythm and storytelling, now with sharper focus and more intentional songwriting.
Up next is a new single, "Bougie," along with a project he's keeping largely under wraps for now. He's also gearing up for his first hour-long live set with a full band on October 2nd, 2026, in NYC — a milestone moment for an artist who has built his reputation on performance.
At the core of it all, KEE.ZEE says he just wants listeners to feel good. Whether someone catches his music through headphones or live with the band behind him, he hopes it delivers a genuine experience — something that lifts people up, even briefly. With new music on the way and a big live show on the calendar, KEE.ZEE's next chapter is just getting started.
