P KILLA: From Bedroom Recordings to the Big Stage

Before she ever set foot in a professional studio, P KILLA (born Pricilla) was just a kid in Austin, Texas dressing up and choreographing dances to Disney Channel songs, imagining herself performing. That early love of performance didn't fade — it turned into a craft. At 15, she began teaching herself to record on her phone using BandLab, writing down her feelings in poems before turning them into songs and playing local shows around Texas.
By 18, she'd released her first official song, and things started to move. After connecting with a professional studio, she found her sound and started building a team around her vision. Her music blends hip hop, R&B, and indie influences, and her travels have taken her from Austin to Houston, Dallas, California, New York, Miami, Seattle, Portland, Santa Cruz, and San Diego, performing alongside and appearing with names like No Jumper, Foo Community, Corner Store LA, Young Drummer Boy, Bravo The Bagchaser, Trippie Redd, and Kodak Black — including a stage moment at Rolling Loud Miami and a set with Trippie Redd at Toyota Arena.
P KILLA says she doesn't lean on idols much these days — "having idols will disappoint you," as she puts it — though she'd love to eventually collaborate with Bruno Mars and Calvin Harris on an EDM or pop record, and with Cardi B on the hip hop side.
Right now she's sitting on a full album and two additional projects, all in the works. Fans can catch her live next on November 13 in San Diego, performing alongside ohgeezy.
At the center of it all is a simple message: chase what you want, work for your money, have fun along the way, and don't let anyone talk you out of your dreams. For P KILLA, there's no backup plan — just the one she's building, one show at a time.
