V-103 is celebrating 50 years on the air with a Labor Day weekend concert at Synovus Bank Amphitheater at Chastain Park, headlined by Raphael Saadiq and Ari Lennox. The show, presented with Live Nation, lands on September 6 and doubles as both an anniversary celebration for the long-running Atlanta radio station and a showcase for two of R&B's more consistent voices. Saadiq, a Grammy winner with a career stretching back to Tony! Toni! Toné! and Lucy Pearl, brings decades of songwriting and production credits to the bill. Lennox, the Dreamville-affiliated singer known for "Shea Butter Baby" and her more recent project "Vacancy," represents the newer generation of Atlanta-adjacent R&B talent V-103 has helped build audiences for. For a station that's been part of Atlanta's Black radio landscape for half a century, the concert functions as a full-circle moment — pairing an artist whose career the station has covered since the 90s with one it's championed more recently. Tickets remain available through Ticketmaster and Live Nation for the Sunday night show.
